Swanson Vineyards is a family-owned winery established in 1985. The winery produces 25,000 cases annually, focusing on Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Alexis (a Cabernet Sauvignon-based proprietary blended wine).

Swanson is known for producing smaller quantities of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Late Harvest Semillon.

Swanson Vineyards owns two vineyards in Oakville: one hundred acres along the Oakville Cross Road and forty acres, known as Schmidt Ranch, west of highway 29.
